Though, I have been having some troubles with skipped stitches. It's a first for me. I have fiddled and I have faddled and the skips will go away for awhile and then reappear. Have you had this problem? Any suggestions? A magical cure? Please share your spell! I would love some help.
Happy weekend all.

Last time that happened to me I had to change the needle twice. I don't know if it's a magic cure, but maybe worth trying. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI love your new blog header plus your pictures on this post were awesome. What did you do and how did you edit them?
ReplyDeleteNo help to offer... Sorry!
ReplyDeleteOh that sounds like it could be very annoying :( I'm not much help in this department. Maybe it is the tension or the bobbin.
ReplyDeleteLove your new banner.
I'll second the 'change the needle' suggestion. It usually works for me, I think it happens when you hit a pin, or I always forget I have the single hole baseplate on and try to do a zigzag. The needle looks fine, but starts to skip when I quilt. Changing it usually magically sorts it out for me, i suppose it was probably a bit bent? Love the text print in your shot, have just ordered a bunch and obsessing about them in other peoples quilts!
ReplyDeleteYes, like these ladies said, bobbin or needle, or perhaps your tension needs a bit of tightening! :o)
ReplyDeleteI agree. Change the needle, make sure threads are compatible and always re-thread bobbin and needle.
ReplyDeleteOh, and beautiful pictures.
